DMCA / Copyright Policy

We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same.

Status: v1.0 — pending legal review. This policy is based on DMCA requirements (17 U.S.C. § 512) and may need adjustment for non-US jurisdictions.

Our Approach

Aura is a community-driven platform. Content is created by users — recordings, attributions, and profile media. We do not host large media libraries or enable public redistribution. Most content is ephemeral and scoped to events.

Reporting Infringement

If you believe content on Aura infringes your copyright, send a notice to:

Email: dmca@ifarm.club
Subject: DMCA Takedown Notice

Your notice must include:

  1. Your name, address, phone number, and email
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed
  3. Identification of the infringing material on Aura (URL, recording ID, or specific location)
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  5. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
  6. Your physical or electronic signature

Counter-Notice

If you believe content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice with the same contact. Include:

  1. Your name, address, phone number, and email
  2. Identification of the removed material and its location before removal
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification
  4. Your consent to the jurisdiction of your local federal district court
  5. Your physical or electronic signature

Repeat Infringers

Aura terminates accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright. We maintain a record of valid takedown notices and apply our enforcement ladder (warning → restriction → suspension → ban) for repeat offenders.
